Did you know we have a few other blogs that are specifically focused on our summer projects? Over the summer, we hire a few students as interns to help out with various aspects of making each project run smoothly. Our summer communications interns are excited to be able to write about their experiences.

Building Laborers
Our summer training project in Myrtle Beach is barely five weeks away, with about 100 students from colleges around Minneapolis headed to South Carolina for all of June and July. This trip requires a substantial amount of planning, both on the administrative side and in preparing our students spiritually for the two-month trip.
Relaunched Resources
If you go to cominneapolis.org, you’ll find a new tab on the top right corner called “Resources.” Click on it, and you’ll find a grid of 20 categories. Click on the category of your choosing, and you’ll find several articles, reformatted and in PDF form, related to that category. They’re ready to be read, printed, shared, and enjoyed by anyone.
Student Story: "Third Time's the Charm"
If my summer was going according to my plan, I would be writing to tell you that I am interning as a business analyst with an IT consulting company here in Minneapolis this summer. While that would not have been a bad way to spend my time, God had a different idea about where I should be investing my summer, and I’m so thankful that is the case because He knows what I need far better than I do.
UST Goes to South Carolina
Bethel on Spring Break
This past week, 3 staff and 12 students from Bethel went on a spring break trip to South Carolina. Two months ago we were praying that God would bring 4 freshmen girls and 4 freshmen guys on our spring break trip. God answered our prayer with a "yes" and he brought 5 freshmen girls and 4 freshmen guys.
Sand & Sun for U of M
Last week 5 of the U of M staff were able to go to South Carolina with 18 students for spring break! We were really excited for the opportunity to spend so much time with students we had met this year. We were hoping to have lots of freshman and sophomore students come on the trip and especially some who don’t know Christ. The Lord definitely provided on this trip for us.
