This summer we went away from our normal eight weeks down in Myrtle Beach, SC. We instead did a Virtual Summer Training Project. We tried to pack all of our favorite things about the Summer Training Project into a virtual option. We still did weekly training, studied the bible, and as much discipleship as we could do through a computer screen. We even did small group meetups as possible.
The summer ended with a two-week trip down to Myrtle Beach SC. We had over forty students join us for a two week in-person trip to SC. Students were excited to live in a bubble and experience some of the community that felt lacked from our virtual summer training project.
Our theme this summer was “fulfilled”. We looked at many of the ways Jesus fulfilled so many promises and themes from the Old Testament. Seeing Jesus fulfill all these promises and themes gives us an unshakable hope and trust that even now, God is working, he is not done. We can trust him.
