I count myself incredibly blessed to have grown up in a Christian home where I was discipled by parents who treasure Christ. From a young age, God planted in me a deep compassion for His people, igniting a passion within me to pursue a path that would allow me to serve and impact lives for His kingdom. This led me to study Education in Missions at Bethany Global University.
During my journey at BGU, I had the opportunity to embark on a 16-month internship in Hungary, where I actively engaged in relationship evangelism and discipleship. Through this experience, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of God's love as lives were changed. Being a part of ministry in Hungary further solidified my calling and deepened my desire to reach the lost.
After finishing my education last year, I dove into the realm of discipleship as a Student Life Advisor at BGU. In this role, I came alongside of eleven freshman girls, encouraging them in their walk with Christ. I also had the privilege of being an Assistant Teacher at Hand in Hand Montessori, a stretching experience that allowed me to pour into the lives of young individuals and witness the transformation that Jesus brings through creating a safe place for children to grow academically, socially, mentally, and spiritually.
In late 2022, my brother-in-law, who has been doing ministry with CO the past four years, encouraged me to look into working on staff. As I sought the Lord and asked where my gifts would be best used for his kingdom in this season, I felt led to pursue joining CO staff. In further exploring this ministry, I was captivated by the strategic nature of the campus as a mission field.
My heart is to see students experience the joy of knowing Jesus and to know who they are in him. I believe that as we help students grow in their faith, we are contributing to the expansion of God's kingdom, not just in Minneapolis, but throughout the nations. I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store, and I am humbled to be a part of his work.
